Canon has made many different configurations, in recent years (R, FL, FD, EF and EF-S), then the answer is no, not all the Canon lenses are compatible.

If there is an option, go with the EOS system. (EOS is the general term for the range of Canon autofocus cameras.) EOS film bodies will accept EF lenses, which also used in the EOS digital cameras.

I still occasionally shoot with an EOS-1V and EOS-3. Since it belongs to a class, assume that your budget is quite limited. However, the good film cameras can be found relatively cheaply. The EOS 3 is a great camera. The ELAN 7 (or newer 7N) cameras are also great. If I were you I'd miss the series Rebelde and begin the number of ELAN, mainly because of the way they handle, but I saw that only one camera should be in the class and plans, then move to digital, then You go as low as possible to the camera and more money for the EF-mount lenses can be more convenient.

As a photographer for a long time, I wonder why you want a film camera. Now, when I went digital 5 years or so, I can not imagine going back.

Digital is sooo much easier and cheaper to buy the camera convenient.Once no recurring fees, no film, no developing costs, no costs, not to the photo shop does not save the movie

In addition to tons of high-end camera sold on eBay have been carefully before spending to buy.
